Hi, I’m Craig
I’ve been a professional photographer for more than 16 years, and I’ve learned something important along the way: great photographs aren’t really about cameras.
They’re about people.
My job is to make you comfortable, keep things moving, know when to take charge and when to disappear into the background—and make sure you actually enjoy the experience.
I’ve photographed everything from weddings and corporate events to executives, families and nonprofit galas throughout Northern Colorado, Denver and Wyoming.
I take the work seriously. I just don’t think we have to be serious the entire time we’re doing it.

“I feel blessed to raise my family here, and to be trusted with theirs on the biggest days of their lives.”
Family, faith in this community
I live in Fort Collins with my Swedish wife and our two daughters — smart, funny, and extra amazing when they’re asleep. Colorado has been good to us: mountain trails, a standing disc golf habit, and good local beer.
Community matters as much as the work. As a Fort Collins professional photographer, I stay involved close to home — a member of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, a supporter of Realities for Children, and a board member with Teaching Tree.

Twenty-plus years behind the camera
Craig’s path to becoming a Northern Colorado wedding photographer started on film, on the road, long before the first Fort Collins wedding.

1999
Picked up a camera and never put it back down — the start of a photojournalistic style built on patience and timing.

2003
"Nine months backpacking through Cambodia, Vietnam, Turkey, and Sweden, shooting on film and learning to catch people without interrupting the moment. On that same trip, he met his now-wife."

Today
Based in Fort Collins, photographing weddings, engagements, and families across Northern Colorado — same documentary instinct, every wedding day.

Why photography, as a business
Photography lets me combine everything I care about into one job. Every wedding and every family session brings new people and one story that will only happen once. I bring the same approach to each: careful preparation, a clear plan for the day, and — fair warning — a steady supply of questionably funny jokes to keep everyone loose in front of the camera.
I’m not the cheapest Fort Collins wedding photographer, and I’m not trying to be. I’m the best value. I plan your photo timeline in advance, tell you exactly what to expect, and do what I say I’m going to do — so the only thing you have to worry about on your wedding day is enjoying it.
